AquaFloat Flotation Center

AquaFloat’s floatation tanks are specifically designed to float you in a foot or so of salt/water mixture warmed to ambient body temperature. The salinity of the water enables an effortless suspension, resulting in sensations of hovering in a gravity-free environment. Deep physical and mental relaxation ensues. During a float session, the tank may be illuminated with gentle, ambient lighting, or you may choose no lighting. For optimal rejuvenation and sensory restoration, the lid of the tank can be closed; however, you are also free to leave it open. Floating offers a peaceful and protected environment in which to immerse you, supporting the restitution of your body and mind’s innate healing powers. AquaFloat is open Tuesday–Sunday, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. A float session typically lasts for 90 minutes, however, you may relax as long as you wish before or after in the center’s lounge.
