Ease into Nature in Albemarle County! The Blue Ridge Nature Play Itinerary website features a total of 58 Outdoor spaces, places to eat, family friendly places to drink, places to shop, places to ride, to stay and cultural centers and museums to visit!
Blue Ridge Nature Play is an ongoing partnership of local businesses created to promote access to nature play, outdoor activities, and local Virginia heritage for all.

Featured partners include: Montfair Resort Farm Cottages, Wildrock Discovery Center, Henley's Orchard, Misty Mountain Campground, Crozet Pizza, Rivanna River Company, Ivy Creek Natural Area and River View Historic Farm and Morning Star Stables.

This partnership works to promote a vibrant rural economy that also helps to preserve the beautiful unique landscape and beloved community we call home.

Three local Albemarle County women came together to share a common love of our area and, with the help of a grant from the Virginia Tourism Corporation created a website and tri- fold map to make it easy for families to “Ease Into Nature”. In addition to the website and other resources, they will host annual Open Houses to offer families an opportunity to dip their toes into the rich and soul-filling Blue Ridge foothills landscape and experience.
