Buck Mountain Church

This house of worship is a rare surviving example of the simple wooden Anglican parish churches scattered through Virginia in the colonial period. Erected to serve Frederick Parish, the building was first completed in 1747.

The church was moved to its present site two miles to the west of its original location in 1860.
