Located in the heart of Charlottesville, Virginia we roast our coffee by hand on a “San Franciscan” 25 lb. batch roaster. Nothing about the process is automated; each batch is individually roasted to bring out the best from that particular bean. We are dedicated to the craft of roasting coffee and guarantee that each cup of Joe you drink is roasted with care and pride.

Despite all the care we put into roasting our coffee it is only as good as the green we source; we take tremendous pride in the quality of our green coffee. We have been dedicated to bringing in some of the finest green coffees available. Some of our coffees carry a certification for Organic, Fair Trade or Rainforest Alliance. At Shenandoah Joe we believe that a focus and insistence on quality breeds success not only for us, but for our coffee producers as well.
