Tuesday Evening Concert Series

The Series presents the finest internationally-renowned classical chamber musicians, such as violinist Joshua Bell, mezzo-soprano Stephanie Blythe, Venice Baroque Orchestra, Berlin Philharmonic Wind Quintet, Takacs Quartet, Tallis Scholars, and many others.

Seven concerts per year are presented in Cabell Hall Auditorium at the University of Virginia in beautiful, historic Charlottesville. Designed by Stanford White (of McKim Mead and White) and built in 1898, ithe Hall is lauded by artists as one of the best venues worldwide for its excellent acoustics and intimate atmosphere. The Series also offers free children’s concerts to schools throughout the region and since 1995 has presented 44 performances for nearly 50,000 children..
