University Transit Service

Operates a full time mass transit system, carrying over 3 million passengers per year. They provide service to the hospital, academic buildings, on- and off-Grounds student housing, and the Barracks Road Shopping Center.

To verify what bus service is running and to verify parking enforcement schedules, please call the Department of Parking & Transportation at (434) 924-7231. Local radio stations and the UVA snow emergency lines, (434) 924-SNOW or (434) 423-SNOW, broadcast alterations to transportation and parking services at UVA during periods of inclement weather.

Charter Services are provided for University affiliated groups and functions only. Outside groups must secure a sponsor within the University.
