We invite you to join Second Street Gallery and exhibiting artist Kirsten Hemrich on Wednesday, February 26, 5:30-7:00PM, for a workshop on "unblocking" in the studio and finding momentum in your creative practice. You can expect to engage in these activities to help spark inspiration: meditation, reading excerpts, journaling, and an open discussion surrounding tools for handling artist block. This workshop is open to and appropriate for artists of all mediums.

This session does come with some preparatory work so everyone is ready to dive right into the exercise from the start and gain the most benefit. To do so, please complete the following:

Go on an "artist date" with yourself-a solo adventure that inspires your creativity.

Try journaling 1–3 pages every day, also known as "morning pages." These daily pages will not be shared in class, but come prepared to talk about your experience. Did you write every day? What did you get out of it?

Tickets are available at $23 SSG members / $27 non-members. This fee directly supports the artist stipend for workshop instruction, participant access to workshop materials for the activity, and staff resources.

Capacity is limited to 15 attendees; secure your spot now and purchase tickets HERE!
