Astronomy on Tap - C'ville #29

Come join us on Monday, February 3rd from 7-9pm at Firefly Restaurant & Game Room for a night of free astronomy talks, trivia, and prizes targeted at a general audience. We'll have talks by professional astronomers from the University of Virginia and National Radio Astronomy Observatory on how we determine the characteristics of distant stars from the comfort of the Earth.

Firefly will be open on Monday starting at 5pm before our event. Stop by early for some dinner and drinks. The kitchen and bar will stay open all throughout the event as well! Following the event, we may have telescopes set up to observe objects in the night sky (weather permitting of course)!
