Blue Ridge Chamber Orchestra - Spring 2025 Concert

The Blue Ridge Chamber Orchestra is pleased to announce our Spring 2025 Concert! The concert will take place at Christ Episcopal Church (Meade Hall) on May 10th, starting at 3:00 PM.

The Blue Ridge Chamber Orchestra is a classical string ensemble of roughly two dozen musicians who love playing and performing, and who seek the camaraderie of others who share this vocation. For three decades, BRCO has provided this opportunity. Orchestra members include adult musicians of all ages from Charlottesville and surrounding central Virginia. Our membership includes local music teachers and semiprofessional performers, veterans of high school and college orchestras, and advanced/intermediate adult learners.

Our program for this concert consists of: Brook Green Suite (Holst), Suite No. 2 (Bach), Holberg Suite (Edvard Grieg), Concerto for Oboe and Violin in C minor with Yasuko Kawasaki, Oboe and Andrew Everton, Violin (J. S. Bach), Serenade for Strings, Op. 22, 3 (Dvořák), and Red Rhythmico (Moster).

Suggested donation $10. Tax-deductible donations gratefully accepted. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit community orchestra.
