Brookhouse and Paxton Henderson at Durty Nelly's

December 14
8:00 PM

Durty Nelly's

2200 Jefferson Park Ave. Charlottesville, Virginia 22902

Acoustic and electric, English and Spanish, earnest and mysterious, Brookhouse celebrates the mixing of cultures–and emotions–to bridge cultural divides and demonstrate that we all contain multitudes.

Featuring upright bass, fiddle, and male and female vocals, this Richmond-based band earned the label "the most unique sound in Richmond" from Shockoe Session Live, drawing comparisons to artists as wide-ranging as Hozier, Santana, Dave Matthews, and Lake Street Dive.

This show at Durty Nelly's will be the group's Charlottesville debut.

Charlottesville-based singer-songwriter Paxton Henderson opens the show with hard hitting riffs, reggae infused jams, and thoughtful songwriting that combine into his signature "Appalachian Surf" sound.
