Charlottesville Jamboree

The Charlottesville Jamboree is set to make its debut at the Fairview Swim & Tennis Club in the heart of the Belvedere community, a near three miles north of the downtown mall on April 26th. This festival celebrates the harmonious blend of music, family fun, craft beers, unique wine and community engagement as we embark into Spring & Summer months in Central Virginia

Rhizome Productions & Fairview are bringing together a great lineup of local and national musicians in the spirit of Americana music. Saturday will offer a full day (11am-8pm) of family friendly fun. As always with Rhizome events children 12 and under are free to enter. Amidst all the other offerings, the Jamboree provides a large Kids Zone run by local educators slapping arts and crafts and controlled chaos across face painting and sensory play stations. We will have a slew of activities for the children all day long including, Beading, Painting,, Read a-louds, lawn games and more.

Americana or America Roots Music sends powerful messages. It embodies all genres of music into one…just like America itself. The art of storytelling has no boundaries or labels. It's how we speak to one another. The beauty of Americana spirit is that it's steeped in love and inclusion just like Charlottesville. "So all are welcomed and yes, bring the dogs!

Music enthusiasts will enjoy a talented lineup of musicians like Cris Jacobs, Jamie McLean, Mike Miz & Boxed Lunch. Kicking off the festivities, The Hot Mamas' will be hitting the stage at high noon with there quirky family friendly vibe.

The Charlottesville jamboree will be a celebration of craftsmanship and creativity that extends from the stage to the pint glass. Attendees will have the chance to indulge their palates with various food and beverage options while dancing the afternoon away.
