Chris Staples is an American singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist known for his distinctive blend of indie folk, pop, and rock.

Staples spent much of his 30s as a touring musician, working with artists such as Telekinesis, Father John Misty, Dave Bazan (Pedro The Lion), and Jeremy Enigk (Sunny Day Real Estate). Despite his success as a hired musician, it was through his solo work that Staples truly found his voice.

Staples songs have accumulated over 100 million streams, and have been licensed for use in television and film.
