Violinist Abigél Králik comes to the Festival from Brussels, Belgium. She has been called "a shooting star in the truest sense of the word." (Mitteldeutcher Rundfunk Kultur). Recent performances as concerto soloist with the Mexico City Philharmonic and Warsaw Philharmonic. She studied at The Juilliard School under Itzhak Perlman.

Pianist Andrew Armstrong is well known to Charlottesville audiences as a serious virtuoso musician and witty commentator. He serves as Artistic Director of two flourishing series in South Carolina-USC Beaufort's Chamber Music Series and Columbia's Andy & Friends, presented by the SC Philharmonic, the New Canaan Chamber Music in New Canaan, CT, and Fabbri Chamber Concerts in New York City at the Fabbri Mansion. He recently performed on tour in the UK with renowned Canadian violinist James Ehnes.

Cellist Raphael Bell is co-founder of the Festival, now in its 25th year! He is principal cellist of the Antwerp (Belgium) Symphony Orchestra and co-director of La Loingtaine music center outside of Paris.

The Charlottesville Chamber Music Festival is a production of the Virginia Chamber Music Foundation. It brings high-level international instrumentalists to Charlottesville for two weeks every September and occasional concerts like this one during the year.
