Translated as "Moonlight", this Clair de lune is a lush orchestral arrangement of Debussy's best-loved piano piece.

Toutatis was a Celtic god worshiped in ancient Gaul and Britain. Saariaho has attached the name to Asteroid 4179 whose orbit passes close to Earth and explored how its unusual shape and complex rotation have impacted her concept and experience of time.

Borodin's Polovtsian Dances create an exotic scene from his opera, Prince Igor. But fans of the Tony Award-winning 1953 Broadway musical Kismet know it better for the romantic ballad, "Stranger in Paradise".

Hailed as "a sensitive and poetic player'' with "gorgeous expressivity", Anna Han helps bring the 50th Anniversary Season to a rousing conclusion with Rachmaninoff's herculean Piano Concerto No. 3. Huge in scale and rich in emotion, No. 3 is often called the Mt. Everest of the piano concerto repertoire.

Anna Han's appearance is made possible by a generous gift from Virginia Cenedella.
