Just in time for Halloween, a screening of Jean Epstein's 1928 surrealist adaptation of Edgar Allen Poe's The Fall of the House of Usher; the story of a friend who comes to visit the ailing Roderick Usher only to uncover a house of uncanny madness.
UVA Film Lecturer, Matt Marshall will perform live piano accompaniment adapted from the works of Claude Debussy, including his unfinished Usher opera, La Chute de La Maison Usher. Inside The Looking Glass. $5/person.
