About the Band

FarAway is the married husband and wife duo of Sara Davenport and Brian Franke who formed in 2012 in Northern Virginia. Their music is a blend of folk and pop with tight harmonies. They have headlined such venues as Jammin Java, shared the stage with touring songwriters like Phillip Phillips, Carolina Story and Griffin House, toured with their music, and had a song on TV. In 2018 they moved to the Charlottesville area and play many of the area's wineries, breweries, and outdoor events.
