We invite you to join us for First Friday, April 4, 5:30-7:30PM, when we celebrate the opening of two new group exhibitions, Home and Charlottesville Porch Portraits. A number of participating artists will be available to meet and mingle with guests. First Friday is a free public event which invites art lovers and art collectors alike to share in supporting our local arts community.

Home is a group exhibition that will showcase the work of 21 artists, exploring rich and diverse interpretations of 'home' in Black communities.

Charlottesville Porch Portraits is an exhibition features local community portraits by photographers Ézé Amos, Tom Daly, Kristen Finn, John Robinson, and Sarah Cramer Shields. The project, which captured more than 1,000 portraits, documents collective resilience during the first year of the COVID-19 pandemic.
