This powerhouse quartet is a modern-day blast from the past. Their shows are a banquet of early to mid-20th century classic vintage hillbilly boogie, western swing, surf instrumentals and rockabilly, as well as Brandon Wayne's ever growing repertoire of superb originals.

Wayne's salty-sweet, deep bell-clear twang is truly one of the finest hillbilly voices on the scene today. With the three additional Southern gents who make up the band--Charles Arthur, Nick Schrenk and Matias Camino-their sound has the Virginia bloodlines of familiar idols such as Gene Vincent and Link Wray. But a lifetime exploring the wide universe of lesser-known hillbilly and rockabilly greats brings a wealth of deep covers to the table, taking us to the wellspring of rural American music. It's an education, a revelation, and a swingin' celebration. Many roots and rockabilly bands do a fine job paying homage to this music. Brandon Wayne and His Lonesome Drifters are the real deal.

Brandon Wayne's roots run deep in the hills and hollows of Central Virginia. Musicians are grown in the soil here. Country, bluegrass and hillbilly songs are the soundtrack to life and the sounds that define us. They run in Brandon's veins, and they're his driving passion. While he's evolved from bluegrass banjo-his first instrument-to acoustic and electric guitar, the band's sound maintains the primitive rusticity of rural America. And when rural America plugs in things really start rocking.

Two Brothers Southwestern Grill serves up delicious food.
