Ivo Kaltchev Masterclass

The UVA Department of Music is pleased to present a piano Masterclass with Dr. Ivo Kaltchev on February 23rd, 2025 at 3:30 PM!

As part of his UVA residency, Dr. Ivo Kaltchev will present a piano Masterclass on Sunday, Feb 23, at 3:30 pm in Brooks Hall. Audience members will hear pre-selected UVA piano students perform. This event, supported by the Eleanor Shea Music Trust, is ​free and open to the public.

Historic Brooks Hall is on University Avenue adjacent to the University of Virginia's Rotunda and directly across the street from St. Paul's Memorial Church and the Bank of America. Parking is available on the street or in one of the many parking lots and garages on "The Corner", across from Brooks Hall in lots on Elliewood Avenue, University Avenue, Fourteenth Street and Wertland Street.
