Legally Blond the Musical

Mark your calendar for the evenings of April 10-12, 2025! The Legally Blonde will be performed at 7:00 pm., in the Western Albemarle High School (WAHS) auditorium, as well as two matinees taking place on Saturday, April 12 and Sunday, April 13 at 2:00 pm. The show will open on Thursday April 10 as a dress rehearsal benefitting the Eric Betthauser Memorial Scholarship. This scholarship is for 1-2 WAHS Seniors going on to study the arts in college who have shown exceptional leadership in the performing arts programs at WAHS. Donations will be collected at the door. The April 12 matinee will feature our understudies.

Legally Blonde tells the story of Elle Woods, a sorority girl who enrolls at Harvard Law School to win back her ex-boyfriend, Warner. She discovers how her knowledge of the law can help others, and successfully defends exercise queen Brooke Wyndham in a murder trial. Throughout the show, few characters have faith in Elle, but she manages to surprise them when she defies expectations while staying true to herself. Legally Blonde is rated PG-13 and is appropriate for ages 13 and up.
