Celebrating their 200th year the "Jefferson Literary and Debating Society" will be challenging whether the Neutrality acts that were created during the 1930's should have been bent or broken to give aid to Europe.

During the 1930s and 1940s The United States was divided on how to respond to the Axis of power consuming large portions of Europe and Asia. What do you think America should have done?

You will have your chance to interact with the Jefferson Literary and Debating Society and ask questions or voice your opinions after the presentation of both the debate groups. We urge you to bring a pen and pad to write down your ideas, as any interruptions may lead to ejection from the debate.

This debate will start promptly at 6.30pm, with snacks and cider available for purchase.
