Their live performances feature unreleased originals, improvisation, as well as covers of Michael Jackson, Erykah Badu, D'Angelo, and Stevie Wonder.
The Making Noise in the Library series brings artists into UVA libraries for free performances and is generously supported by a grant from the UVA Arts Council. In 2025, we are partnering with the Robertson Media center to highlight the support and resources they provide to professional and amateur musicians at UVA and in the Charlottesville Community. Come join us!
Swamp Street is: Cameron Meredith (Bass, Vox), Jeremy Nachison (Drums), Austin Patterson (Keys, Vox, Trumpet), and Karolyn Yoon (Guitar, Vox). Cameron, Jeremy, and Karolyn first connected as students at UVA and later joined Austin to form the group. Since 2023, they've made a name in Charlottesville for their funky, bluesy, neo-soul, and RnB style sounds. Their live performances feature unreleased originals, improvisation, as well as covers of Michael Jackson, Erykah Badu, D'Angelo, and Stevie Wonder. Their debut EP is set to drop in March 2025!
