Nature Walk for All, Folks with Challenges WELCOME

Nature for ALL!! If you feel hesitant or concerned about your own safety when venturing out in nature, the Rivanna Master Naturalists and Piedmont Virginia Bird Club has designed a birding event with you in mind regardless of mobility, hearing, seeing, or any other challenges that you might have. If you would like to get out but something is stopping you: WE WELCOME YOU!! We are planning a birding event on Saturday, May 10, at 9:00 at Riverview Park. We have expert birders to help even the most inexperienced. We'll provide binoculars and help you learn how to use them. We will move at your pace. Riverview Park is flat enough for wheelchairs, has handicapped parking, and a handicapped porta potty. The trail has many benches for those needing to rest.
