In the mid-1980s, America's triumphant years were finally up as the Commie Reds parachuted down onto our streets and playgrounds to mercilessly lock our fathers in concentration camps and gleefully shoot our schoolteachers in the face. Luckily, there was a band of high-school football-playing meatheads (C. Thomas Howell, Charlie Sheen, Patrick Swayze) ready to take to the hills and fight back against our new Soviet overlords. This is a film written and directed by the man who wrote the line, "I love the smell of napalm in the morning," and meant it. WOLVERINES!
