Spring Break Camp: Down on the Farm

Come down to the farm! Learn about the crops and livestock commonly raised on farms as we enjoy a variety of hands-on games, crafts, and activities to bring the homestead to life.

Whether your child is new to the camp experience or already knows the ropes, the Virginia Discovery Museum's annual week-long, half-day Spring Break Camp for children 4 to 8 in April provides opportunities for kids to gain confidence, make friends, and explore enrichment-focused topics through creative, engaging, and hands-on learning and play experiences. The camp theme changes every year, and campers enjoy a special playtime in the galleries each morning before the Museum opens to the public.
