Strides for Character

Join us for the first annual STRIDES FOR CHARACTER family-friendly, 3-mile walking event along the beautiful, scenic Rivanna Trail in Charlottesville, VA.

This fundraising event benefits The FACE Project, a local non-profit organization supporting educators, students and parents in Virginia for 24 years with Character Education and Social Emotional Learning Tools.

Everyone is welcome! The 3-mile loop takes place along a paved path that runs parallel to the Rivanna River. Come out, enjoy the beautiful fall weather and support a great community event.

We believe Good Character Starts Early...and educating our children on core ethical values such as respect, empathy, accountability and responsibility to self and others, is more important than ever.
