Join us in Crozet for a night of Booty Shakin' Rock n' Roll Music with The Barons and Cougar Beatrice at Pro Re Nata in Crozet!

"Hailing from historic Charlottesville, Virginia in 2016, The Barons confront youthful themes of love and fear into their ethereal, booty shakin' rock n' roll music. Fresh into their twenties, The Barons are frontman Peyton Alley, lead guitarist Josiah Ragland, bassist Kirtland Gray, and drummer Mathes Glymph. With extensive touring in the US college circuit and supporting the tours of top Billboard artists (i.e. Judah and the Lion, Catfish and the Bottlemen, Barns Courtney, The Aces, etc.) behind their back, The Barons have quickly developed their arena potential. The band currently has 12 singles released and there's no question their writing is prep for a full-length.

The band intertwines intricate time signatures and heavy pop melodies into their tunes such as "Tell Me (There's No One But You)" and "Yard Sale" while holding onto their straight forward rock n' roll roots in tunes such as "Hands On" and "American High" that represent their journeys on tour through the road less travelled. Each song the band has released remains versatile in their 'genre placement' making the band's writing and live shows that much more intriguing."

"The Barons are Charlottesville, Virginia's most intriguing musical export since the Dave Matthews Band." - Kent Romska (iHeart Radio) "The Barons are our most popular booked band in the college circuit." - College Weekly

Cougar Beatrice, a band formed by University of Virginia graduates in 2020, has quickly risen in the music scene with a distinct mix of indie rock, heavy metal, rap, and pop.

The members, John Gordon, Gabriel Aguto, Jimmy Lord, and Matthew McDonnell, have transformed their college band experience into a full-fledged career, touring the East Coast and releasing compelling music.

Their discography includes the debut album "Colors of I," and the EP "The Blind Hunter," praised for its catchy, genre-blending sound and thoughtful lyrics. Despite setbacks like the theft of their instruments in New York City, their resilience and community support have kept them on a positive trajectory.

Known for their dynamic live performances and a commitment to creating meaningful experiences, Cougar Beatrice continues to captivate audiences with their unique sound and heartfelt dedication to music.

"Their sound is always in the works, and ever-evolving."
