In the opening concerts of its 2024-45 season, Three Notch'd Road: The Virginia Baroque Ensemble features two monumental works by a young J.S. Bach (the chaconne for violin and cantata Actus Tragicus) and selections by Henry Purcell, Thomas Campion, William Walker, and living composer David Hughes.
