Join us with your little one for a morning at Kluge-Ruhe! Created for children ages 6 months to 4 years, this visual literacy program engages early learners (and their caregivers) in looking at and talking about art followed by a fun hands-on activity.

For the first half of the program, we review "museum manners" and take a short tour of our current exhibition, demonstrating how we talk about basic elements of visual art and stimulate visual and interpretive development in young children. According to early childhood studies, infants and toddlers are attracted to high contrast visuals, bold images, and colorful objects, making Aboriginal art the perfect starting point for your child's art education.

The second half of the program features a multi-sensory art project led by Kluge-Ruhe education staff.

This program is free to attend. Registration is required. If you need more information or have any questions, email us.

Tots and Dots is offered monthly. In February the theme is Animals! We will search for animals in the exhibition and create our own puppets to tell a story!
