Winter Farmers Market at Ix

As the winter sun grows warmer for this last market in February, we finally get a break from the rainy, icy, snowy markets. The winter vegetables and apples are holding up. Fresh microgreens and mushrooms will perk up your menus while we wait for spring greens to grow. Meats, fish, honey, baked goods (we have a wonderful new sourdough bread baker) frozen soup and Pierogis to take home, and last but not least, plenty of eggs are available. Grab a coffee or tea while browsing for breakfast and baked goods for a weekend treat. Eastern Bakes, Mary's Pretzels, Crescent Moon, Meryem's Homemade, It's Mr. Baker and Bee Conscious make the decision difficult. For hot dishes, Hog Haven, Khushbu Indian Food, Rum Punch Jamaican, SFG Southern Fusion, Empanadas, Mexican Tacos are the choices. We need a lot of community to support all these vendors so come on down and revel in local food.
